Stephanie Singer Appointed Nashville Branch Manager

NASHVILLE, Mich. – Eaton Community Bank has named Stephanie Singer the branch manager for its Nashville location.

Singer, 51, has previously served as the Universal Banker for Eaton Community Bank’s Charlotte location. The Bellevue resident has worked in banking since 2016 and brings an expertise in consumer finance with an emphasis on customer service to Nashville.

“Stephanie will be a wonderful asset to the entire Nashville community,” said David Hunt II, Vice President of Retail Banking at Eaton Community Bank. “She has all the technical skills and experience to assist our customers with whatever their financial needs are. But in the banking world that ‘It’ factor is customer service, and that’s where Stephanie excels. She actively listens and builds relationships with each customer, and truly works with them to find the best solutions to their financial needs.”

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Singer has two adult children with the youngest a senior at Albion College. An outdoor enthusiast with a passion for “the spooky season,” Singer has experience with new adventures and personal growth.

“We don’t grow where we’re comfortable, so if you want to grow you’ve got to be a little uncomfortable,” Singer said. “Before I moved to Michigan, I decided I wanted to go hiking. Like a serious hiking trip, and I wanted to do it myself. So, I did Isle Royale in the Upper Peninsula.”

Isle Royale is a National Park – the only one that closes seasonally due to weather – located in Lake Superior and is only accessible by ferry or seaplane. It’s 161-mile trail system is widely regarded among the toughest in Michigan.

“I was originally only suppose to go for 4 days, but the weather got bad and I was stuck there for 6 days,” Singer said. “It was amazing; challenging, but amazing.”

She anticipates a similarly rewarding experience becoming the Nashville branch manager.

“How’s the saying go, believe half of what you see and none of what you hear,” Singer said. “I’ve got to take the time to learn the Nashville community and see everything firsthand. I’m excited to get involved in the community and meet everyone.”

Eaton Community Bank has served mid-Michigan since it was chartered by two local businessmen in 1937 to help local families buy a home and provide a safe place to invest their savings. Today, Eaton provides expanded services and solutions to meet the financial needs of the diverse communities it calls home.
